100-hour fundamental certification permanent makeup training

Our permanent makeup training is a hands-on program. This flexible certification course includes training on permanent brows (nano hair strokes and powder techniques), eyeliner and lash enhancement, and lip blushing, as well as tips for starting a business, marketing, managing clients, and more to ensure professional success. 

 Students who earn their certificate of completion with the Maine Academy of Micropigmentation will receive lifelong support, with the option to return and observe their initial training in whole or in part to brush up on their techniques and continue their professional development. 

Upon completing the course, students will have met all state requirements for permanent cosmetics training as defined by the Department of Health of the State of Maine.

Students will have the opportunity to complete intradermal cosmetic procedures on live models with their trainer to earn their certificate of completion during their permanent makeup training.

The Maine Academy of Micropigmentation studio hosts private, one-to-one permanent makeup, certified training classes in Saco, Maine. Students typically finish the theoretical (classroom) portion of the training in four days. And we work with students to create a *schedule that is convenient for them for both their theoretical training as well as their work on live models.

*Specific dates and times cannot be guaranteed, weekend training is not currently available. The entire program is typically completed within 3-4 weeks. However, depending on model availability, it may take longer in some instances.

The student-to-teacher ratio for working on live models is always one-to-one, so you are guaranteed plenty of hands-on learning to develop your artistry.

It is important that students investigate the rules regulating the practice of micropigmentation in the town and county in which they will be practicing.
